“The team have been proactive with communication and making me aware of the young person’s achievements and development. In particular, I feel that the positivity expressed by the staff and service around the young person’s learning and development have really benefitted the young person’s engagement with the project, especially at a time in which they were struggling with their application and engagement with wider education.
Aside from the gaining a valuable qualification, the project has, most importantly, supported a young person to continue to engage with his education at a time in which they were disenfranchised. The project has also opened up the young person to areas of creativity that they would likely not have considered or refused previously, as well as broadening their horizons as to what they can achieve.”
