Karen Flannery has been a teacher for over 20 years, specialising in SEND and The Arts. Karen has been in her current post at Pinc College for just over a year where she is an EHCP Coordinator. Karen has a passion for getting the best outcomes for young people and recognises the benefits The Arts can have for people with additional needs.
Additionally, Karen has a particular interest in dyslexia and is currently studying towards a post graduate qualification in Specific Literacy Difficulties, Dyslexia at Edge Hill University. In her free time, she enjoys tap dancing, cycling, and spending time with friends and family. As a first-time governor Karen is really looking forward to becoming involved in Pinc College’s development.
